Thanks Michael,
This tutorial worked perfectly! One question - this Thesis site was never prompted to automatically upgrade like other Thesis installations I have. I may have missed it as there are other admins on the site but don't we usually get a prompt on the dashboard when there is a new version of Thesis available? Like the Plugins do?
Thanks again.

Thanks for this post. I followed your instructions but have ended up with the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function thesis_html_framework() in /home7/karentom/public_html/index.php on line 8

Are you able to give me any advice on how I can solve this or point me in the direction of someone who could help me.

I'm a thesis novice.

Many thanks

Hi Mike - Thanks for the tutorial! I had to upgrade Thesis for someone today, which I don't like to do, and your tutorial worked perfectly. :-)

I had no idea you had this site and I hope it's going well.

Mike
I know it is me with my rudimentary skills but even your instructions make certain assumptions about the person you are providing the information for.
Example: Where do you find the root domain?

This is turning into a webmare :(

Mike you are a life saver!

I am an IM and WordPress newbie and had no idea which way to turn to implement all of the changes before I was supposed to download 1.6

I may be in touch. It is late at night and will re-read your material tomorrow before I try to be very careful for a seamless upgrade.
