Hi, Mike,

All of Thesis' customizations are contained in the /custom folder. To move your customizations all you have to do is to transfer that folder to your new installation. It's that easy!

Hi: thanks for the tutorial. I've been looking for a way to set up a subdomain so I can test out my Thesis design skills without disrupting my current website. Right now the site is running on a template called eDegree which is okay. Once I get Thesis tricked out on my subdomain, is there a way to then install Thesis as my main site theme and then import the customizations done on the subdomain?

Is there any advantage in terms of ease of use in putting up a subdomain as opposed to a separate website. I have to put up my site in Japanese and in English. I was thinking of getting a Japanese website ending (co.jp) and putting up a separate website. I am hoping to have a button that will allow readers to go from one website to the other.
